Hello! My name is Jasmine Baidoo, and I am a senior majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology. I am passionate about understanding the underlying mechanisms that regulate cellular processes and their effects on human health. In the Goldstein Lab, I work on quantifying and imaging H3K9me2 for oligodendrocyte lineage cells. I am always eager to learn something new, whether it's in the lab, class, or through everyday experiences. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and binge-watching adventure shows.

Hello! I’m Aeris and I’m a senior Neuroscience major with aspirations to attend grad school and med school. In the Goldstein lab I focus on H3K9me3 marks in enriched mice and how it might affect enriched-environment induced myelination. When I’m not concentrating on school, I love to karaoke.

I am a second year student at Augusta University’s BS/MD program. I am studying Cell and Molecular Biology. As a member of the Goldstein lab, I do research on one of our histone marks and image them in vivo. A fun fact about me is that I skipped a grade early on!

Hi, I’m Isaac Bloom! I’m an undergraduate neuroscience student in the Goldstein Lab, where I get to combine my curiosity about how the brain works with hands-on research. I’m especially interested in the bridge between research and clinical work—taking discoveries from the lab and thinking about how they can improve patient care. I love asking questions, diving into new projects, and finding creative ways to understand complex problems.

Hi! My name is Christina, and I am a Cellular Molecular Biology major. I’m the oldest out of three with two younger brothers (one of which I share a birthday with— not twins). In my free time, I like to bake and crochet. I’ve been in the Goldstein Lab since June 2025, when I joined for CURS summer scholar program due to my interest in epigenetic modifications.

My name is Oviya Sinthanai-Selvan. I am a 3rd-year Cell and Molecular Biology major in the BS/MD program at Augusta University! As part of the GLOW lab, I am working on the human project, focusing on the histone mark H3K9Me3. In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and going on hikes!

I am a third year student at Augusta University’s BS/MD program. I am studying Cell and Molecular Biology and hope to go into orthopedic surgery one day. As a member of the Goldstein lab, I image human brain samples using confocal microscopy and use ImageJ software to quantify these images. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym with my friends, and trying new places to eat!

Hey, I am Cole. I am a second-year master’s student studying the knockout of JMJD1C from birth and that impact on developmental myelination. When not in the lab, I enjoy hiking, camping, playing DnD, and spending time with my wife and friends.
